NCH

Fay Presto is a proud supporter of Dreamflight — a registered UK charity whose purpose is to send seriously ill children on their 'holiday of a lifetime' to Florida. While many charities devote their energies to funding long term research projects or the purchase of medical equipment, the people at Dreamflight believe it is just as important to bring some fun and joy into the lives of children who perhaps can't wait long enough for the breakthrough they need or whose illnesses and treatments have brought pain distress and disruption to their lives.

The original concept was devised in 1986 by Derek Pereira and Patricia Pearce, together with a small group of British Airways staff. Their dedication culminated in a Boeing 747 full of 288 sick children and their adult helpers, flying off to Florida for five magical days in November 1987. The original Dreamflight was only intended to be a 'one off' trip but the '87 flight was such a success that it has now become an annual event.

NCH

Fay is also a proud Vice President of NCH — one of the UK's leading children's charities, helping children achieve their full potential. The charity supports some of the UK's most vulnerable and excluded children and young people. Formerly known as The National Children's Home, today it's simply called NCH.

NCH runs more than 500 projects for some of the UK's most vulnerable and excluded children and young people, and their families, supporting over 140,000 people at children's centres throughout the UK.

NCH also promote social justice by lobbying and campaigning for change. Today, NCH is the leading UK provider of family and community centres, children's services in rural areas, services for disabled children and their families, and services for young people leaving care.
